About The Project

OBJECTIVE:
To improve the health of the urban population particularly the slum dwellers and other vulnerable sections by facilitating equitable access to quality health care with the active involvement of ULBs.
The Municipality envisages meeting the health care needs of the urban population with the focus on the urban poor, by making available to them essential primary health care services and reducing their out-of-pocket expenses for treatment. 
The Municipality has already taken programs to construct four Health Centers in different wards of the municipality. One health center project has already been started.
