Sanctioned plan means the set of plans and specifications submitted under the bye-laws in connection with a building and duly approved and sanctioned by the authority. The Building approval comprises the building plan and the layout approval for the construction of the building by the municipality. A builder should submit a building plan to the Municipality and same has to be sanctioned by the Municipality before starting the construction activities.

Maynaguri Municipality has a well-organized Building Plan department where the submitted plan is checked properly with their technical resources and processed gradually before sanctioning the plan.
