Maynaguri Municipality which is established just in the year of 2021 has grown up as capable and robust organisation with the active co-operation of citizen of the Muncipality for providing effective service and better governance. During these years the shape and the socio-economic atmosphere of the Municipality has changed to unimaginable extent and gardually it too has imbibed the spirit of contemporary civilisation of 21st century and got acquanted with the sphere of Modernization,Industrialisation and Globalisation. In just a few years, Maynaguri Municipality has established itself at the forefront of all the Municipalities in WEST BENGAL.Modern thinking and planning and its efficient implementation makes the Municipality exceptional.

Mutation & Assessment

Here Property mutation is the process through which the title entry is changed in ULB records once it has been transferred in the name of a new owner or the single property splited into different parts. After assessing the property valuation, the tax of the said property is imposed as per govt. rule. Dinahata muncipality has good infrastructure and qualified staffs to execute this job prperly. Property Tax

Municipal tax is also known as property tax or house tax. Municipal tax means the amount of money a house owner needs to pay annually to the municipal authority. The tax you pay to the government is also consumed by you in some or the other way such as the construction of roads, savage development, and many more. Maynaguri muncipality has good infrastructure to collect the tax and now online tax payment is available as well.
Public Works Department

Building rules under a Municipal Act are framed to regulate building activities in the municipal areas after the enactment of the West Bengal Municipalities Act, 1993 a building rule namely The West Bengal Municipal (Building) Rules 1999 was framed under the Act. Later it was amended and accordingly the West Bengal Municipal (Building) Rules, 2007 have been made.
Electricity

The purpose of the Electrical Department is to establish standards for the design, installation, and maintenance of various electrical installations. The intent is to set suitable benchmarks for materials, energy efficiency, systems, and workmanship for lighting systems intended for use in areas. They are all maintaining their responsibilities in the area of electricity services providing for the citizens' comfort under the municipality. Any type of complaint is entertained by telephone or online.
Water Supply

Municipal water supply systems include facilities for storage, transmission, treatment, and distribution. The design of these facilities depends on the quality of the water, the particular needs of the user or consumer, and on the quantities of water that must be processed. Maynaguri municipality has its own water supply department headed by the Incharge along with dedicated technical and clerical staff who are always ready to provide their best services to the municipal citizen.
Health

At first glance many local governments may think health is not a local government responsibility, however, local governments have the ability to promote health in their communities through healthy community design, healthy living programs, health-related policies, and the building of Health centers or Mini Hospital run by the local government i.e the Municipality. Maynaguri municipality has set up their Health strategy for providing health services and betterment of their citizens' health-related issues.
